What happens if I need to change, cancel, or postpone my event?
If you need to cancel your booking, you may do so without penalty up to 14 days before your scheduled event date.
Bookings cancelled within 14 days of the event are non-refundable. If your booking was made less than 14 days before the event, it is also non-refundable. Where possible, Village Ice Cream may, at its sole discretion, offer a store credit or allow a date change.How long does it stay cold?
The portable freezer must remain plugged in for the duration of your event. The unit should only be unplugged while it is in transport, and not longer than 1 hour.
What happens if it gets damaged on site?
The renter is responsible for the Portable Freezer and its accessories from the time they are delivered or picked up until they are returned to Village Ice Cream or collected by our team.
At the end of the rental period, the Portable Freezer must be returned clean, in good working condition, and in the same condition as when it was received, allowing for normal wear and tear. The renter is responsible for any costs associated with repairing or replacing damanged, lost, stolen, or unreturned equipment, including missing accessories or excessive cleaning beyond normal use.What space is required?
Each portable freezer is 31.2” D x 19.5” W x 18.9” H.
How heavy are the portable freezers?
The portable freezers are 64 pounds dry. When fully loaded with product, a portable freezer weighs 100~ pounds.
Can they go up and down stairs?
It is preferrable to have either elevator access or a ramp for building access due to the weight of the portable freezer.
Do you need power?
Yes, the portable freezer must be plugged in and should be placed within 6’ of a power outlet. The renter must have access to an extention cord if the distance to the power outlet is >6'.
What if we need more ice cream during our event?
Unfortunately, we do not offer a restocking service, or on-demand deliveries. Please ensure that you order enough ice cream for your expected guest count.
How many flavours can we choose?
You can choose up to 4 flavours from our regular Little Villager menu which includes: Salted Caramel, Melted Chocolate, Strawberry, Phil & Sebastian Coffee, Cookies and Cream, Montana's Mint (V), and Chocolate Mud Cake (V).
Can I customize the flavours?
Unfortunately, not at this time.
How much ice cream is in a Little Villager?
Each Little Villager contains 133mL of ice cream.
