We’re dedicated to making hand-made traditional ice cream in decidedly un-traditional shops. Our shops are for people to gather, share old memories, and create new ones. A place to wind down or rev up. A place to connect with fellow Villagers. Or, you know, a place to grab a quick pint of Salted Caramel for just you and a spoon – we get it. 

Make Incredible Ice Cream

Incredible ice cream is made from the heart, and we make a product that we’re proud of. Our rich, dense and creamy base is the result of our unique recipe, made with plenty of fresh egg yolks, cream and sugar. Creating our 10 “Always” flavours’ and our rotating seasonals is about sourcing the best possible ingredients – to whip, fold, infuse, and crumble into our delicious ice cream base.

Best Beer-Free Party in Town

Our shops are a neighbourhood gathering place for our Villagers, and we aim to feed the good vibes from the moment you walk through our doors. The very first shop opened up in 2012 in a plain old building on an almost impossible to find cul-de-sac in Victoria Park. Nearly a decade and five locations later, Village Ice Cream joins the vibrant neighbourhoods of Victoria Park, Britannia Plaza, Garrison Corner, Bridgeland, and University District. Wherever there is a Village, the neighbourhood comes alive with people walking, biking, and rollerblading to grab a cone. Come for the ice cream. Stay for the party.
