Established: 2012. This is our original shop: an unlikely and hard-to-find cul-de-sac where we made our very first batches of Ice Cream.
We have plenty of free parking in our private lot and piles of seating and hang-out space in one of Calgary’s first parklets (story: we converted a bunch of parking stalls into a nice place to hang). Our outdoor space is the scene of countless wedding photoshoots, unofficial family reunions, run-club and bike group calorie re-ups, and general merry-making. And our hand-painted sign is one of the most instagrammed spots in Calgary!

Ube Cheesecake is here! 👀🍠
To make this new flavour, we start with our house-made ube halaya (aka ube jam), made by cooking and peeling purple yams, and adding condensed and coconut milk and sugar, and we add it directly to our sweet cream base. Once it’s churned to perfection, we add in freshly baked, rich cheesecake pieces to complement the delicate warm and nutty flavours from the ube. (Allergens: Dairy, Eggs)

Villagers, we’re making a change to our beloved Village Vanilla Bean ice cream flavour. Read on for all the details. ⬇️
After much consideration, we’ve decided to remove the ground vanilla seeds (the little black specks in the ice cream) from this recipe. This change helps us uphold our commitment to creating a consistent product, both visually and in its taste profile.
The ground vanilla seeds are sourced from spent vanilla beans used in the extraction process. Securing a reliable supply of these seeds has become increasingly challenging. Additionally, while the inclusion of ground vanilla seeds has provided a distinct visual appeal and subtle texture, these seeds contribute minimally to the warm vanilla flavour derived from our Double Fold Vanilla Extract.
Rest assured, our Village Vanilla Bean ice cream will continue to have the rich, creamy, and indulgent vanilla flavour that makes it a favourite among our 10 Always Flavours. We remain committed to providing the highest quality and most delicious ice creams possible at each of our 5 shops.

The star of this flavour is local @drizzle_honey Raw White Canadian Honey. We gently caramelize the honey until it’s liquid gold, bringing out a rich, warm flavour quality.
