Established: 2022. University District, our newest shop, is located in the heart of the retail main street in the University District, just west of the University of Calgary!
Village is thrilled to establish roots in NW Calgary, and we can’t wait to be part of the ever-evolving University District. You’ll find us right by the Cineplex VIP Cinema and so many other incredible businesses, such as Monogram Coffee and YYC Cycle. AND, we are just around the corner from the incredible Central Commons Park, which is anticipated to open in fall 2022. There is really nothing like eating the dough straight from the bowl, and that is why we created Villsbury Doughboy! We recreated the sweet taste of nostalgia by churning a brown sugar, vanilla infused dairy-free base with chunks of homemade (gluten-friendly and vegan) cookie dough and crunchy pieces of dark chocolate. (Contains soy, sulphites)

It all starts with our non-dairy base, and we add in a healthy amount of pineapple juice, lemon and lime juice, and coconut flavours. It’ll have you saying ‘aloha!’ with every single bite! Inspired by the classic Canadian treat, Pecan Butter Tart captures the essence of this caramelly, buttery-rich treat in every scoop! It all starts with a homemade caramel infused base reminiscent of the butter tart filling. We then add in chunks of buttery house-made short bread crust punctuated by crunchy bites of perfectly toasted fresh pecans. (Contains dairy, eggs, gluten, nuts)
